Hidden Places and Holy Wells
Fancy a day out walking around some of Ireland’s archaeological sites and holy wells along the border? Come join us for a tour of discovery through our prehistoric and early mediaeval past as we follow in the footsteps of St. Brigid and St. Monnina, see the inscribed standing stone at Kilnasaggart, learn about early church settlements and find out how our ancestors built their ancient tombs. Dr Barbara Graham, a local archaeologist, will accompany Dr Thérèse Cullen, an expert in monastic Ireland, will be your guides for the day.
